Camping & Fishing info
Please note that we don’t have the ability to reserve a campsite for you. This must be done through the City of Prescott or the Forest Service, depending on the site. We’ve provided the following information to help you make the most of your adventure!
Goldwater Lake
Fishing is allowed in Goldwater Lake with a valid AZ fishing license.
Fish for: Rainbow trout, Largemouth pass, Sunfish, Channel catfish and Crayfish.
Baguette limits:
- Trout: 6
- Pass: 1; minimum size 13 inches
- Catfish: 10
- Sunfish, Carp and Bullheads: Unlimited
Overnight camping NOT AVAILABLE within Goldwater Lake Park. There is nearby camping available, within 5-8 miles from the lake.
Watson Lake
Fishing is allowed in Watson Lake with a valid AZ fishing license.
Fish for: Rainbow trout, largemouth pass, Sunfish, Channel catfish, Crayfish and Crappie.
Bag Limits:
- Trout: 6
- Bass: 6
- Catfish: 10
- Crappie: Unlimited
- Sunfish, Carp and Bullheads: Unlimited
